Alcamo DOC wine route

The wine route Alcamo doc aims at enhancing a territory that is not very large but of undisputed value for the quality of its vines. These include the towns of Castellammare del Golfo, Gibellina, Calatafimi, San Giuseppe Jato, San Cipirello, Partinico, Monreale, Camporeale and Monreale.

The wine produced has ancient origins, which date back to the sixteenth century, and today is presented in 19 different types, from whites to rosés up to sparkling wine.

An itinerary that will not disappoint you can include a visit to the Castles, between the Castle of Calatubo and the Castle of the Counts of Modica (Alcamo), Castello Inici and the Norman Arab Castle (Castellammare del Golfo), the Castle of Calathamet and the Eufemio Castle (Segesta).
