Madonie Park

Flora is the protagonist of the Park territory. This botanical paradise and its peaks reaching 1,979 meters above sea level, hosts more than half the 2,600 species in Sicily and around 150 of the 200 endemic species. The most representative is the "Abies Nebrodensis" with 29 specimens.

The fauna is characterized by 65% of the nesting birds and all the mammals present in Sicily. Geological and landscape aspects are also very significant. From various locations, it is possible to observe extraordinary landscapes including Etna, Nebrodi and the Aeolian islands, that the sunrises and sunsets are tinging with splendid colors giving it an almost unreal appearance.
